Masarat for IT and Financial Services (“Masarat”), located in Tripoli, Libya, is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. Sahara Bussines is a product (“App”) by (“Masarat”) for Sahara bank in Libya, which is now introducing features allowing users to easily transfer money within account holders in Sahara bank and other external Libyan banks safely and instantly.  

What Information Do We Collect?

We collect non-personal information from your device to help improve the App’s performance and functionality. This may include:

  • Camera Permission (scan QR code).
  • Device information (model, operating system)
  • App usage data.

We do not collect, access, or store any personal information such as account passwords, contact details, or financial data through the App.

App Permissions

The App may request certain permissions to function properly. These permissions do not allow us to collect, access, or store your personal information. Here’s a breakdown of the permissions used by the App:

  • permission allows the App to display notification badges on app icons on specific launcher applications.
  • Permissions to allow managing notification badges on specific launcher applications.
  • Permission allows the App to communicate with our servers for functionalities like account verification and transaction processing.
  • Optional Permissions may be requested for features like mobile check deposit. You can choose to deny this permission if not using the feature.
  • Permissions allowing the App to temporarily prevent the device from going to sleep for specific tasks requiring uninterrupted processing.
  • Permissions allowing the App to check your internet connection status for functionalities that require it.
  • Permissions allowing the App to send you notifications about your account activity and other relevant information.
  • Permissions allowing the App to vibrate your device for notifications.
  • Permission is optional and may be requested for features requiring the flashlight functionality. You can choose to deny this permission if not using the feature.
  •  Optional Permission may be requested for features that utilize fingerprint or facial recognition for secure login. You can choose to deny this permission if not comfortable using biometrics.
  • This permission allows the App to receive push notifications from our servers.
  • Google Play Services permission required for some core functionalities of the App.

Remember: You may provoke any permission you’ve allowed before which is not going to effect app functionality.

How We Use Your Information

We use this information to enhance the quality of services and ensure a smooth user journey, we do not transmit or store data externally or share with third parties.
