Terms and Conditions for Digital Card Services

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Digital Card Services (“Service”) provided through the Wahda Mobile app. By using this Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms in addition to Wahda Mobile’s general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using the Service.

2. Definitions

  • Digital Card: A virtual payment card linked to your bank account, physical card or credit facility for online and in-app purchases.
  • User: An individual authorized to use the Wahda Mobile app and its associated banking services.

3. Eligibility

  • The Service is available to registered users of Wahda Mobile with active accounts in good standing.
  • Users must meet any additional eligibility criteria as outlined by their issuing bank or financial institution.

4. Service Features

  • Create, manage, and terminate digital cards directly within the app.
  • Set spending limits and view transaction history for each digital card.
  • Digital cards may be used for online, in-app, and other compatible transactions.
  • The Service may not support cash withdrawals or certain merchant types.

5. Fees and Charges

  • The issuance and use of digital cards may be subject to fees as disclosed during the card creation process or as specified by your issuing bank.
  • Users are responsible for any additional charges incurred while using the Service.

6. Security and Responsibilities

  • Users must safeguard their account credentials and avoid sharing sensitive card details.
  • In case of loss, theft, or unauthorized use of a digital card, you must notify the bank immediately via the Wahda Mobile app or customer support hotline.
  • Users are liable for transactions made before reporting unauthorized use.

7. Restrictions

  • The Service must not be used for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities.
  • The bank reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Service for users violating these Terms.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

  • By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your personal and transactional data as outlined in Wahda Mobile’s Privacy Policy.
  • The bank employs encryption and other safeguards to protect user data but cannot guarantee complete security.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • The bank is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access, technical failures, or misuse of the Service.
  • The Service is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind, except as required by law.

10. Modifications to the Service or Terms

  • The bank reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.
  • Updates to these Terms will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

11. Termination

  • Users may terminate their use of the Digital Card Services at any time through the Wahda Mobile app.
  • The bank reserves the right to terminate access to the Service for non-compliance with these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Libyan government.
  • Any disputes arising from the use of this Service will be resolved through arbitration or as per applicable banking regulations.
