Musrefy Pay Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Masarat IT & Financial Services Company (“Masarat”), on behalf of Jumhouria Bank (“Jumhouria”), collects, uses, and protects your information in connection with the Musrefy Pay mobile application (“App”).   • Purpose: To locate nearby ATMs or Jumhouria Bank branches.

  • Purpose: To read and display PDF files (e.g., transfer receipts, statements).
  • No personal or sensitive data is stored or transmitted outside of the App.

App Permissions

Musrefy Pay requires the following permissions for its features. All permissions comply with ISO 27001 standards for information security:

  • Location (Optional): To find nearby ATMs or branches.
  • Internet: For secure communication with Jumhouria Bank servers.
  • NFC: To enable contactless payments.
  • External Storage Access: To display PDF files like transfer receipts (requires user consent).
  • Camera: To scan QR codes for transactions (requires user consent).
  • Flashlight: To improve QR code scanning in low-light conditions.
  • Vibration: To provide haptic feedback for notifications.
  • Notifications: To inform you of account activities and updates.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as account credentials, full payment card details, or social security numbers.

Sharing Your Information

We only share your information with Jumhouria Bank for transaction processing and account security.

  • No third-party vendors have access to your data.
  • We do not use your information for marketing purposes.

Your Rights and Controls

  • Permission Management: You can manage app permissions through your device’s settings. Revoking permissions may limit certain features but will not affect core functionalities.
  • Access Requests: You may contact us to request access to your data, subject to legal and regulatory requirements.

Children’s Privacy

Musrefy Pay is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
